Checklist for your documentary!
Read and learn about the Great Depression and the Dustbowl
Era.

Choose a topic.

Read and take notes from the following sources:
-Databases
-Library of Congress website - www.loc.gov

Write an outline with at least three of the most important
categories of information that you need to cover in your
documentary.

For each of your CATEGORIES write at least three (3)
DETAILS to support your main topic. Use the attached paper
to complete this task.

Write a draft of your script for Primary Access. Your script
should:
 thoroughly cover your topic accurately;
 be 4-5 paragraphs, proofread, and have a unique title;
 and translate to 3-4 minutes for your documentary.

Reminder: These are the minimum requirements. Feel free to
wow us!
Find images for your documentary. Your images must:
 be pulled from the Primary Access website (see me if you
need additional pictures);
 be sited within your bibliography (title, artist);
 reflect the time period and your topic.
Reminder: There is no limit to your number of photos, but you
must not repeat pictures to fill time.
Record your script! Don’t wait until the last minute!
Publish your video!
