National Honor Society Paperwork for Membership
Consideration Instructions
You have been invited to fill out National Honor Society paperwork for
membership consideration based on your cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or
above, as well as your exemplification of the four pillars of National Honor Society:
Character, Service, Leadership, and Scholarship.
You will find the paperwork on Miss Ostertag’s webpage. To find the
webpage, go to www.conradschools.org; click on faculty; click on Ostertag; look to
the grey bar on the left and click on NHS.
Fill out the form and write your essay. The essay should also be computer
generated. Print out the paperwork when it is complete, sign the paperwork, and give
it to Miss Ostertag or Mrs. Fladstol on or before the deadline. If the paperwork is
not handed in on or before the deadline, you will not be eligible for membership
consideration this semester. No exceptions will be made. You will not be reminded
of the deadline. If membership in NHS is important to you (and we hope it is), you
will make it a priority to meet the paperwork deadline. After the paperwork is
received, it will be reviewed by the advisors and faculty committee. You will then be
informed of your NHS membership status by Mrs. Fladstol and Miss Ostertag.
Those accepted into membership will be installed on March 30th at 6:30 P.M. in the
Auditorium.

your potential as a productive National Honor Society student at Conrad High
