WEISER NAMED TO THE HISTORYMIAMI BOARD OF TRUSTEES MIAMI, FL (July 10, 2013) – HistoryMiami is pleased to announce Bradley A. (Brad) Weiser, president and chief executive officer of The Continental Companies, a Miami-based hospitality and casino development and operating company, as a new member of its Board of Trustees. Mr. Weiser leads day-to-day operations at The Continental Companies, one of the best known and widely respected hospitality development, ownership and operating companies in the country. A 1978 graduate of Ransom Everglades High School, he received his Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree from the University of Denver in 1982. Brad is extremely active in numerous civic organizations and charitable causes, with a significant focus on children’s charities. He has served as Co-Chair of Ransom Everglades Capital Campaign, and also serves as a trustee for the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, the Police Athletic League and Ransom Everglades. The Continental Companies own and/or operate hotel properties throughout the United States, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico and South America, and casinos in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean including The Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne, Florida; Grand Bay Hotel in Coconut Grove, Florida; and, the Wyndham Resort & Spa in Ft.
