Reflection Paper

Monday
7th of Jan. 2008
On Monday I arrived to school at 7:00 am. My mentor teacher was
already there. I asked about what she will give the students this week?
She said that this week students will have exams, so there are no new
lessons this week. At the first, second and third blocks the girls were
examining. I helped the mentor teacher in preparing the class, tidying it,
changing the place of tables, and spreading the exam sheets. From the
fourth to the eighth block I was preparing for my observation lesson. I
went home at 1:20 pm.
Tuesday
8th of Jan. 2008
On this day I was worried a little bit because this was the day of
observation. I was preparing all the materials I need at the first block.
Then I began to review the lesson which I gave at the seventh block. Dr.
Eman arrived at 9:00 am. She was sitting with me and my colleagues up
to 10:20 then she went with Areej to observe her. The time was running
out very quickly. I looked to my watch it was 11:40 that’s mean my class
will begin after just 5 minutes. My heart was pumping more and more but
I tried to be relax and I success. Every thing was hard at the first
controlling students, and giving the lesson but then everything become
easier. My lesson title was about "feelings". Students interested in the
lesson and I interested in it too. The lesson finished on time and I was
feeling good after the lesson.
Wednesday
9th of Jan. 2008
Students are still examining, so there are no new lessons this. I helped the
mentor teacher in preparing the class, tidying it, changing the place of
tables, and spreading the exam sheets. From the fourth to the eighth block
I was preparing for my second observation lesson. I went home at 1:20
pm.
Thursday
10th of Jan. 2008
This was the last day for me to be in this school. From the early morning
I was preparing the materials for my lesson. The mentor teacher was
supposed to observe my lesson. At the fourth block I gave my second
observation lesson it was about "classroom objects". The student was
interesting and very active. I loved there class. At the end of the class I
told them that this was the last day for me to be in their school. They
looked sad after that I think they loved me too. I said good bye for every
students. Then I worked on computer on my reflective journal until 1:10
pm. I finished and the time for me in school was finished too so I said
good bye for every one in the school. It was an interesting days for me.
