Global Warming Project
Caused by man or natural processes
In this project you will research both sides of the issue on global warming. Is global warming
due to man’s polluting the atmosphere or is it due to natural processes that occur throughout the
Earth’s history?
You will collect information from a minimum of ten articles, five supporting man-made
pollution and five supporting natural processes. You will then write a paper that describes the
global warming issue incorporating both viewpoints. You should use appropriate facts and
figures, graphs and other data to support both viewpoints. Be sure to properly reference all
direct quotations and cite all references used. All articles used must be appropriately cited as
references. If unsure how to reference direct quotes or citations, ask the teacher.
Once you have established both points of view, you are to formulate your own position on the
issue. Be sure to provide the appropriate facts and figures you used to support your position.

each position. Use only that information that is contained in your paper. Your teacher will
