Short Paper 1: In this short paper written in 2005, I presented an idea for consideration to the
Academic Deans for improving the then stagnant strategy process. Managing our effectiveness
using the Learning Organization process.
Short Paper 2: In this second short paper (2005) I suggested to the Academic Deans that The
Citadel had an opportunity to make a major strategic move into creating a knowledge
management basis for the learning organization.

A Cognitive Developmental Approach to Adult Learning: This unpublished paper explores
cognitive psychological development adapting to it an organizational learning approach in an
original way in order to derive a possible application for individual adult learning.
Personal Notes on Introduction to Ethics: This unpublished paper explores cognitive
psychological development adapting to it an organizational learning approach in an original way
in order to derive a possible application for individual adult learning.
Teaching Leadership and Ethics to Adults: This unpublished paper addresses the question “What
concepts and practices are particularly relevant to the teaching of leadership and ethics for adult
learners?”

The Organization Development Institute: The Organization Development Institute is a non-profit
educational association organized in 1968 to promote an understanding of the field of
Organization Development. Every year we publish The International Registry of O.D.
Professionals and O.D. Handbook, and we meet at least twice a year both inside and outside the
USA to keep our members and the public informed on recent developments in O.D.
The HRD Committee : The ICA Global HRD Committee makes available knowledge,
information and guidance on co-operative education and training issues to the HRD practitioner,
the co-operative leader and the co-operative manager. It also provides a forum for the exchange
of ideas, aspirations and practical experiences to enhance the social and economic effectiveness
