Clarification on what needs to be in your Project
(earthquake/volcano powerpoint).
Be sure to include:
1. Names of the main plates (ex. Pacific Plate), the
direction of movement (convergent, divergent or transform
fault), and the type of plates (ocean or continental).
2. The type of boundary and the geological features that go
with it (folded mountains, trench, volcanic islands, etc.)
3. Location of your main earthquakes and/or volcanoes and why
they occur there. This is your feature.
4. What is the history of the boundary and/or feature – famous
quakes or eruptions, death toll, folklore.
5. What is the future prediction for large quakes and
eruptions, if applicable.
