At Play Rangers, we expect all children to be responsible for their own behaviour on the
internet, just as they are in school. This includes materials they choose to access, and
language they use.
Children using the World Wide Web are expected not to deliberately seek out offensive
materials. Should any pupils encounter any such material accidentally, they are
expected to report it immediately to a teacher.
Pupils are to use the Learning Platform appropriately, both in Play Rangers and at home.
Children are expected to use appropriate language in their email communications and
contact only people they know or those the teacher has approved. It is forbidden to be
involved in sending chain letters.
Children must have received permission before using the Internet.
Children should not access other people’s files unless permission is given.
Computers should only be used for schoolwork and homework unless permission has been
granted otherwise.
No program files may be downloaded to the computer from the internet.
No programs on disc, CD ROM’s, memory sticks or other recording materials (cameras or
mobile phones) should be brought in from home for use in Play Rangers.
Personal printing is not allowed on our network.
No personal information such as phone numbers and addresses should be given out, and
no arrangements to meet someone made unless this is part of an approved school
project.
Children consistently choosing not to comply with these expectations will be warned, and
subsequently may be denied access to internet resources.
Pupils/parents must not upload any photographs taken in and around school onto any
social networking site (e.g. Facebook).
I have read through this agreement with my child and will encourage them to abide by it.

PLAY RANGERS
General Permission for Outings, Photos and Videos, 2012/13
From time to time we like to take the children out to Mike’s Meadow, Batheaston Park etc. We always
let you know in advance about any other trips further afield, however it is also useful for us to have a
slip on file for those odd occasions when parents are unable to return their specific permission slip in
time.
It is also helpful to us to have your permission to have your child’s photograph/video taken occasionally
for letters/website/displays/newpapers, etc. (For your information, we always request that surnames
are never used in any publications with photos.)
We would therefore be grateful if you would complete and return the General Permission Slip below
giving your permission for us to take children on supervised educational visits and/or have photos and
videos taken. Many thanks.
