Objective: To understand the pros and cons of a minimum wage increase.

1. Locate and print/cut out at least two articles on the Federal
minimum wage increase (properly cite-using
www.citationmachine.net)
2. Read the articles!
3. Make a pros/cons chart for a minimum wage increase
4. Interview 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenagers who are not taking
my class) to obtain their opinion on a minimum wage increase
(include their names and signatures!)
5. Include a factor market graph that depicts a minimum wage
increase and the potential consequences (this is the graph we
discussed in class!)
6. Use the website : http://www.dol.gov/esa/minwage/america.htm
and compare the minimum wage in other states to NY.
7. Find one other piece of evidence to support your opinion
8. Write an essay with your findings, using the following format:
