This essay will be an adventure story describing your
journey through a geographical region of Oregon. The
research you have completed on your region of study will
help to make this paper accurate both historically and
geographically. Following the outline below, write this
story from either Lucy or Luke’s point of view.
Make sure each paragraph includes a topic sentence and
supporting details. Your paper should include an
introduction, a body, and a conclusion. Use detailed
descriptions in your writing that appeal to all the senses.
As a resource, use a thesaurus and your transition list.
Final Draft must be written in ink double-spaced or typed
on the computer. You will receive a grade in Science and
two grades in English for this paper. Have Fun!!

Format

landscape, weather, water features, vegetation, animals,
etc.)
