Successful story
I went to Algeria in2010 to deliver training to Sonatrach company but I reviewed our
customers list in Algeria before being there and noticed that another company Enageo
didn’t renew licenses for 8 years, So I volunteered and managed to set two meetings with
them while I’m in Algeria one for top management and the other for users showed them
the latest capabilities and update in our software also the benefits they can gain if they
renewed the licenses. They liked the new version and we managed to renew the licenses,
selling more ones and upgrade the hardware. Moreover I secured 5 weeks of training. We
closed the deal with $2M (Although my visit to Algeria was to deliver one week of
training only but I managed to increase our market share and revenue through such action
while I’m there)
