I will be reading the book “Freak the Mighty” to our classes this year, as I
do each year. It is one of my favorite books. I like to show the movie, “The
Mighty,” as a compare and contrast lesson. The movie is rated PG-13, “for
elements of violence and peril.” The movie was made in 1997. I have viewed
the movie, and the scene of “violence” is less intense than it is in the book.
Please sign below, indicating whether your child will be allowed, or not
allowed to view the movie, “The Mighty”. This form must be returned by
