The success of the Williamsburg Conservation District’s efforts in soil and water
conservation in the county has been due to the fine support which our affiliate
members have given us. We are grateful for each and every one of our Affiliate
Members who support our programs each year.
We continue to need financial assistance in order to carry out our educational
programs and are excited to see a renewed interest in our programs. Our affiliate’s
financial help enables us to continue to offer our educational programs such as the
Photo, Essay and Poster Contests. We provide material for Earth Day, Arbor Day and
hold the annual Teacher’s Class Award contest. The District works with school
projects whenever possible and assists with the FFA Competition. The Senior Award
and Conservation Achievement Award are presented annually.
We sponsor workshops such as the Goat Management Seminar and Feral Hog
Workshop. We have added a level to our Affiliate Membership – Camp Fund
Contributor. This money is specifically used to send students to one of the many
conservation camps available. With the help of our affiliate members we can continue
with these programs to educate and assist the public. Would you please consider
