Subject: May 2014 Conservation Day
The Region of Peel will hold a Conservation Day on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at
Clarkson Secondary School, 2524 Bromsgrove Road, Mississauga. Time is from
8:30am – 3:00pm.
At Conservation Days, residents are able to dispose of household hazardous waste
such as batteries, household cleaners and paint as well as waste electronics and
electrical equipment such as old televisions, computers and printers and
confidential paper for shredding. Residents are also invited to drop off reusable
goods such as clothing and books for charity. Conservation Day also provides an
opportunity for residents to pick up new blue boxes, green bins, kitchen
containers, rain barrels and backyard composters.
