The participants will cover around 90 - 110 kms of distance by cycle every day. A team of volunteers will stop at a pre-identified spot in your village/town/city and conduct different activities targeting youth and needy. The activities are. i) Personality Development programs in schools and colleges ii) Medical camps in villages iii) Health awareness & Yoga sessions iv) Promoting cycling in everyone’s day to day life for green environment v) Plantation Drives vi) Promoting voluntary work as a selfless service How to join? Join either of cycling full distance or partial distance as per your convineice. There is a huge opportunity for volunteering in several social activities and meet many like minded people. Here is an opportunity in the form of Manavata Chaitanya Yatra to work together for a greater cause, which starts from Udaipur on 18th December 2010 and ending in Mumbai on 26th December. In this Yatra, we commence cycling of 1000kms and service camp to inspire people towards social responsibility and humanitarian consciousness. There will be several service camps along this route and you can take part in any of these. We are at the stage of finalizing local collaborations for different camps and strongly believe that any encouragement or participation from your side will be inspirational to many people in your vicinity. Organisations who are in Education, Health and Environment sector, are invited in this event as this would be a great noble cause to direct people towards the Humanitarian and also would be helpful in helping the needful.
