service camps from Udaipur to Mumbai from 18th December 2010 to 26th December 2010).

Why we are doing this?
Some of the heart breaking facts which we cannot ignore are
o About 850 million children across the globe are suffering with hunger
o Many species on the Earth are disappearing due to irresponsible human behaviour
o Lots of people are suffering from illness and getting affected by climate change
It is a fact that each one of us responsible for several issues like this. We all have to change to save
from this situation. That change should start right from us and our home. This campaign is to urge our
fellow humans to help the situation by making positive change in their lives.

Sharing best practise used among various countries for sustainable living
Work so far: Several service activities like cycling camps, plantation drives, healthy practice sessions
and charity together events in India, UK and USA are performed in past 19 years – these have

The Manavata Chaitanya Yatra – December 2010
In this event, 1000 kms of distance would be covered from Udaipur to Mumbai via
Ahmadabad over a period of ten days. The participants will cover around 90 - 110 kms of
distance by cycle every day. A team of volunteers will stop at a pre-identified spot in your
village/town/city and conduct different activities targeting youth and needy. The activities
are.
i) Personality Development programs in schools and colleges
ii) Medical camps in villages
iii) Health awareness & Yoga sessions
iv) Promoting cycling in everyone’s day to day life for green environment
v) Plantation Drives
vi) Promoting voluntary work as a selfless service
How to join?
Join either of cycling full distance or partial distance as per your convineice. There is a
huge opportunity for volunteering in several social activities and meet many like minded
people. A 10 days cycling with different service activities. You can join any day in any
service based on your convenience.

Thane to Mumbai (26th Dec)
Our previous camps like, Bangalore to Hyderabad covering 600 kms in December 2009,
Hyderabad to Rajahmundry covering 500 kms in December 2008, UK: Reading to Bristol
covering 160 kms in August 2010 and other similar camps had inspired many young people
and has helped many organisations and individuals for a good cause. It has helped connect
many organisations also.

About Manavata:
Manavta means Humanity, who has a mission to work towards selfless and social service.
Manavta is a voluntary organisation which is also a registered charity in USA and UK. Its nonprofitable nature and secular credentials, are proved by nineteen years track record of
achievements in the chosen areas, makes it imperative to re-dedicate to the cause of the
needy and poor in society. It has been moulded as a common platform for social service
organizations spread across continents, to share and interact in the field of service to the
humanity. Interesting apart is that, more of enthusiastic youth are a part of this social
service. Manavata acts as a facilitator and dialogue partner with regard to co-operation
among the volunteers and member organizations in carrying out social activities addressed
to the benefit of community and deserving individuals.
We at manavta are committed to work together, following a selfless service towards
Humanity. Our main mission is to create a healthy, harmonious & happy; the 3H’s where
there is not hate for one another. Here is an opportunity in the form of Manavata Chaitanya
Yatra to work together for a greater cause, which starts from Udaipur on 18th December
2010 and ending in Mumbai on 26th December. In this Yatra, we commence cycling of
1000kms and service camp to inspire people towards social responsibility and humanitarian
consciousness. There will be several service camps along this route and you can take part in
any of these. We are at the stage of finalizing local collaborations for different camps and
strongly believe that any encouragement or participation from your side will be inspirational
to many people in your vicinity.
Organisations who are in Education, Health and Environment sector, are invited in this event
as this would be a great noble cause to direct people towards the Humanitarian and also
would be helpful in helping the needful.
