Ganeshotsav
A perfect combination of students and faculties created a magic that led to a vibrant and
accommodative environment at JIT Campus. An idol of Lord Ganesh was installed on
Ganesh Chaturthi, 3rd September, with great enthusiasm and faith. One of the students,
Mr. Vikram Sangat installed the idol of Ganesha. Every morning and evening; the pooja
was performed by students. Ms. Rushali Bahale, from Mechanics dept. and Mr. Santosh
Asia from Chemistry dept. steered the 10 days programme along with their enthusiastic
student volunteers.
On Ananat Chaturdeshi ie on 14th September morning; havan was performed followed by
Mahaprasad. Lord Ganesha was immersed at Telankhedi Lake in a procession. The
program was graced by the presence of trustees, advisory committee members and large
number of well wishers and dignitaries such as Dr. D. K. Agrawal, Mr. Chandrashekhar
Bawankule (MLA Kamptee–Koradi), Mr. Sunil Kedar (MLA Saoner), Mr. Devendra
Fadnavis (MLA West Nagpur)..
