Rising 6th grader Summer Reading Assignment Due Date: First Day of Language A class Welcome to Northview, an IB World School. In order to prepare for your year in Language A, you are asked to read one assigned non-fiction (A) and two choice fiction (B) books over the 2012 summer. These books must be read before the first day of Language A class at Northview. Please bring both books to the first day of Language A class. A.Non-Fiction Assigned Novel Directions: 1. Create a list of 10 ideas that you would like to use for the upcoming school year 2. Write a reflection paragraph that answers, “How could you use what you have read in this book during your first year at Northview?” Book Title: Fighting Invisible Tigers, Earl Hipp Summary: This book discusses the pressures and problems encountered by teenagers and provide information on life skills, stress management, and methods of gaining more control over their lives.
