Extra Credit Films (30 points each/2 per quarter) Find a film below that is based on a historical event and watch it. Summarize what you viewed in the film. This would consist of what happened from the beginning up until the end. You also need to say how the film relates to a particular event in history. You might even list how the movie is different from what actually happened in history or the ways it is similar to actual events. The paper needs to be 2-3 pages in length and must be handwritten. *Remember that you need to get parent approval before watching any movie, and you need to complete the assignment entirely to get credit.* These are just a few suggestions – there are many more you could do. Any movie you choose needs to relate to what we’ve studied or will study. If a movie is not listed, ask me if the movie you have in mind will meet approval. Check out this site http://www.vernonjohns.org/snuffy1186/movies.html if you need some any movie ideas.
