Total donations received, including interest, for Swachh Bharat Kosh totalled Rs 369.74 crore, of which Rs 359.2 crore were released for construction of toilets, Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha. ‘The fund utilised under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) since October 2, 2014 is Rs 6,411.05 crore, including Rs 185.22 crore spent on print and electronic media,’ Sinha added. The Swachh Bharat Cess in a non-lapsable fund. The cess is imposed at the rate of 0.5 per cent. Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, and State Bank of Travancore. The airline had reported a loss of Rs 65 crore in the JulySeptember period of 2015. The statement from the airline did not share the year on year figures. It may be noted that AirAsia India, had begun operations in June 2014. The loss comes even as other airlines which declared their numbers has reported record profits on rising traffic coupled with record low fuel costs. The airline, which is promoted by Tata Sons, AirAsia and Arun Bhatia said revenue rose 232 per cent to Rs 208 crore and it registered strong capacity growth of 133 per cent.
