Specifications for Dual Gel Mini Electrophoresis systems
1. Vertical electrophoresis should be comprised with a tank, electrode module, casting module and optional blotting module.
2. This unit should be built by injection mode technology with anti-leak rubber and clasprelease design*

1. Cost of tender documents Nil ,EMD Rs. 2400.00 for the Electrophoresis apparatus with power pack is payable in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director,
CNCI, Kolkata ,payable at Kolkata. Earnest money will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders as per rule. No quotation will be considered without EMD.
Earnest money deposited shall be liable to be forfeited if the successful bidder withdraws his tender after opening.

2. Prices should be quoted in Indian Currency . Rates will be inclusive of VAT and other taxes, only net price is to be quoted.
3 . Quotations should have validity of minimum 90 Days.
4. Bids received after the specified date and time of receipt will not be considered.
5. Non-fulfilment of the conditions of executing the contract by the supplier would constitute sufficient ground for annulment of the award and forfeiture of EMD.
6. No variation of price will be allowed during the period of contract.
7. All supply of goods must conform to the specification.

In the event of the date being declared as a closed holiday for purchaser’s office, the due date for submission of bids and opening of bids will be the following working day at the appointed time.
11. Every effort has been made to put forth general specifications in this tender document.
If inadvertently, any of the specifications drawn happens to match with the specifications of any particular firm’s product only, in respect of critical parameters, then it will not automatically mean that this particular firm’s offer is only technically suitable.
In general, the specifications offered by other firms will be assessed in their own entirety to ascertain whether or not the broad functions in general expected of the equipments of the purchaser and accordingly the offers would be considered based on prudent assessment of the purchaser.
12. Price Payment Terms.
Payment will be made only after satisfactory installation and the date of acceptance certificate issued by the purchaser’s representative for the respective delivery.
13. The tenderer must have supplied this machine in State/ Central Govt./Autonomous
Body or any Institute.. list of current users in and around Kolkata is to be submitted.

14. The tenderer must have authorised service centre within the city limit of Kolkata/
Howrah, for providing after-sales service of the machine in the hospital. The address, fax,
Telephone No. should be clearly mentioned on the offer.
15. With regard to interpretation of terms and conditions, the decision of CNCI shall be final and binding to the Bidder..
16. CNCI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason .
17. Settlement of any dispute emanating from the resultant contract is subject to the jurisdiction of Kolkata only.
