Outcomes and evidence requirements
Outcome 1
Plan the installation of networked computer application software.
Evidence requirements
1.1
A review of the networked application specification identifies and explains the
feasibility of the specification.
1.2
The plan specifies milestones, and estimates the time and resources required
for installation.
1.3
The plan ensures that the installation is scheduled to minimise disruption to the
users.
1.4
An analysis of risk identifies the tasks in the plan vulnerable to standard risks,
and assesses the probability and impact of those risks.
1.5
A risk management plan identifies measures to be taken to minimise risk, and
the contingency measures to be adopted in the event of a risk manifesting itself.
1.6
A review procedure is adopted which ensures the final outcome meets user
requirements.

4.1
An explanation of the publisher’s supplied operating procedures allows the user
to begin operating the network application.
4.2
An explanation of training and support options allows the user to obtain training
and support.
4.3
A review of the installation and installation specification allows the user to judge
that the installation has been completed.
4.4
Documentation is completed according to the publisher’s and organisation
requirements.
