Purpose
People credited with this unit standard are able to: describe
data management issues; describe commonly implemented
features of commercial computer database management
systems (DBMSs); implement a simple computer database;
and review DBMS end-user tools. The performance of all
outcomes is to a standard that allows for further learning in this
area.
