EGGER PRESS INFORMATION ST. JOHANN, February 2015 Successful perspectives for EGGER Visitors flocked to EGGER's "Perspectives" stand at the BAU 2015. A record 251,000 industry visitors from around the globe came to Munich for the world-leading trade fair in architecture, materials and systems, with many making their way to the EGGER booth in Hall B5. It was here that visitors discovered new perspectives, together with the product innovations from the Flooring, Furniture, Interior Design and Wood Construction divisions. On show for the first time was the new flooring collection "EGGER Laminate Flooring 2015-2017". No fewer than 70 decors, eight surfaces and five formats were presented, adapted to the design styles and needs of customers in different sales regions. In total, the collection includes approximately 300 articles, being the most diverse and individual laminate flooring collection in Europe. However, visitors to the testing stations in the EGGER booth were able to directly realize that the new floors have more than just their look and feel to speak for them: with the aqua+ technology, EGGER is offering for the first time moisture resistant floors that can be used for example in bathrooms or kitchens, as well as on commercial surfaces. The new UNIfit! installation system makes it possible to install the floors up to 40% faster, making the work easier. Advancing the look and feel Innovations in the ZOOM retail collection for the Furniture and Interior Design division were also featured. With the seven new surfaces, based on highly modern technology, EGGER provides its customers with new possibilities. Through their senses, visitors were able to experience the ZOOM innovations via an arcaded passage. The highlight of this was the Feelwood synchronised pore surfaces, now available in a completely coordinated material set. From now on, they are available on Eurodekor chipboards, laminates, thin chipboards for the top layers of doors and compact laminates. In addition, the range of edging was expanded to include a new ABS safety edge with an end grain design featuring the look of solid wood cut to size. This completes the trusted EGGER decor and material set and guarantees high levels of creative freedom. 1 EGGER PRESS INFORMATION ST. JOHANN, February 2015 Focus on technique, design and service EGGER building materials, OSB, DHS and timber were also presented at the BAU - as build materials of the actual trade fair booth and at the consultation tables. Visitors were able to gain information about the OSB 4 TOP board. This included its strong and high load bearing characteristics, its suitability for use in timber engineering and wood frame construction and its tongue and groove profile, which provides quick installation. With a combination of exceptional design and technical innovations, EGGER highlighted its future perspectives at the BAU 2015. This included its strong customer service, demonstrated by the VDS visualisation software stations in the professional and the mobile version. The free app with more than 10,000 downloads and revised design makes it possible for fabricators to have the entire decor collection available when advising customers on the decor combinations and visualisations of their space. The EGGER Professional Programme, a partner programme for carpenters, wood constructors, floor installers and joiners, also experienced a significant influx at the BAU. Since its launch in July 2014, 2,000 participants have already signed up for the programme, taking advantage of the comprehensive services on offer. The eye-catching design of the trade booth The innovative design of the EGGER booth framed the entire in-house range of woodbased materials and timber. Visitors were able to receive an entirely new view of the products, their innovative technical properties and perspectives on EGGER's product design and development. The open and inviting booth design reflected EGGER's approach as a modern, international and approachable family business. The overwhelming number of visitors and positive feedback from guests confirmed the importance of this leading trade fair for EGGER, says Ulrich Bühler, Head of Sales and Marketing EGGER Group: "This year's edition of the BAU in Munich represented once more an excellent presentation platform for us.
