Preferred Qualifications: Teaching emphasis on acoustics/psychoacoustics, anatomy and physiology, research methods, audiology-based courses, and/or American Sign Language. Responsibilities: This tenure-track position carries responsibilities in the areas of undergraduate and graduate teaching, clinical instruction, research, student advising and mentoring, and service to department and university. Teaching assignments may include courses in speech and hearing sciences, research methods, audiology, as well as others as determined by the needs of the program. The Department: The Communication Sciences and Disorders Program (CMSD) is in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences, one of seven departments in the College of Communication and Education. ASHA’s Council on Academic Accreditation accredits the program. In the CMSD program there are five tenure/tenure track faculty as well as several part-time faculty for approximately 160 undergraduate and 45 graduate students.
