•Impacted to first-time freshmen
•Applicant pool determines characteristics for admission offers
•SAT (CR & M) or ACT is required regardless of GPA. Must take
exam(s) by the December 2011 test date
•Subject requirements must be met by graduation
•No summer work will be allowed to meet admission requirements

•Priority Filing Period: October 1- November 30
•Admission offers begin late January on a rolling basis
•EPT/ELM must be taken by May, preferably earlier due to ESP
•Chico Preview Day: October 22, 2011
•CSU, Chico Scholarship applications are accepted online from
October 1- December 15 (prior to admission offers)
•On-campus housing applications accepted mid April on a firstcome, first-served basis

January 31
•Summer Orientation sessions take place June-July (recommended)

•Students must begin remediation the summer before fall enrollment
•CSU, Chico will communicate with admitted students about ESP
•Look for ESP “Smart Page” at www.csuchico.edu/admissions
•ELM/EPT must be taken early (no later than May)
•Students must notify CSU, Chico of how they will complete their
required ESP participation
•Students may complete ESP at CSU, Chico, other CSU’s or CCC’s
