VARIOUS PROPHETIC WORDS, VISIONS AND DREAM SNIPPETS DEALING WITH
THE WAVES: (prophetic words might be directed towards individual congregations, but there
are overall truths hidden within them.)
A prophetic vision given at a prophetic conference 1998 (transcribed directly from a
tape): Pastor Dennis Bambino
"As we were in praise and worship, the Lord gave me a picture, and the picture started to run
and move and continue. It was a picture of a river, which was in its dry season. It was totally dry,
filled with rocks. And in the middle of the river was a vessel, a riverboat, and on that riverboat
were people who were called to go downstream. I believe that there was a name on the side of
the boat, which indicated that this was the regional church or the church of the region. Aboard
that vessel were a number of people who had been called to be on it, along with many, many
boxes. All of the boxes were intended to be supplies to be unloaded down river to meet needs.
But because the vessel wasn't going anywhere, sitting on this rock bed, those that were on the
boat were digging into the supplies and using them for themselves. I saw cases of living bread
and living water. I saw cases of medical supplies, gifts of healing, and then cases of dynamite,
the dunamis power of God.
As the people on the vessel hoped and wished that they could go down river, they became
tired and hungry, and dug into the bread. Some of them were laying there in the sun, really fat,
because they were pigging out on the bread. Some were soaking in the living water and they
became like prunes.
Others who were sickly were attempting to apply that which was in the boxes of medical
supplies, the gifts of healings. They were not administering them properly and they themselves
were getting sicker, or hurting other people with the misuse of syringes and medications
(pictures of the different giftings, and misapplications of those). Others were digging into the
boxes of dynamite not really knowing how to handle it. One guy sat on the back of the boat and
said, 'What a pretty candlelight' He sang, 'Happy Birthday' and blew up. Others were holding the
dynamite and saying, 'Oh isn't this nice.' They would light it and throw it off the side. Because it
was a dry river you had people traversing between the boat and the shore, which was very easy
to do. The people going back and forth were getting hit by this dynamite and people were dying.
Then in their frustration of trying to get down river they ran off into the woods, which was a
picture of the world.
They were cutting down trees and they made these long poles. Now the craft was built with
just a rudder, which was somewhat damaged. It was dug into the ground and they weren't
making any progress. So they ran into the forest, cut down trees and made long staffs, poles.
Men would position themselves around the vessel and argue about who would be up on the front
and who would be in the back. Some people didn't want to pick up their pole and other people
would hit the others with theirs. Then a couple would just dig it into the ground, into the dry
riverbed and they would push down and the vessel would lift up for just a moment. But because
they weren't in unity, some would push forward and some would push back, so they would get
this feeling of 'OOH we are in the Spirit, we are moving' and then it would crash down and be in
exactly the same place, even backwards. I saw those poles as being programs, things that men
were making, trying to move the vessel down river. The frustration in all of this was that people
were dying on board. People were just getting so fatigued from doing all this work. They were
dying, or they would quit the job. They would leave and walk off the vessel, walk across the dry
ground and into the forest and never return.
Others would come out of the forest and say, 'Oh, I'll take their place', or 'That's great, now I
can be on board and I will take one of those poles and I can be a pole manager, or pole chief or
something like that in charge of a pole.' They would work and then they would grow old and die
and this cycle continued on and on. I said, 'What's next Lord?'
There were a few that were sitting on top of the piles of boxes and they were just praying.
They'd always be ridiculed by the guys with the poles and the guys with the dynamite used to
throw a couple of sticks at them every once and a while. But they continued to pray and they
said, 'All this that you're doing is for nothing. We've got to pray for rain, we've got to pray for the
river; we are not here to be doing all of that, to be dying on board. We have got to pray for the
river.' And they were laughed at, scoffed and mocked at, but they just kept on praying. Then the
scene shifted up river. Up the river it took a sharp bend. You couldn't see where the river was
coming from. The river disappeared among the trees. Then above the trees, there was this
incredible cloud of mist. An incredible roar like thunder came from the mist, but seemed to be
way off in the distance. To the sensitive ear you could tell that it was coming closer and closer.
Then around the bend on this dry riverbed came light. And as the light came closer and closer to
the vessel it was obvious that it was a man. It could have been an angel, it could have been the
Holy Spirit, I am not sure, but he was crying out and saying, 'The river is coming, prepare your
vessel, the river is coming, prepare your vessel.' Some would say, 'Did you hear that?' and others
would say, 'I didn't hear anything, who is this guy anyhow?' And as he came closer and closer to
the vessel, it was obvious that he was going to pass by. But those that were up there on top of the
boxes praying were saying, 'Wait a minute, not too fast, what are we supposed to do, when is this
going to happen?'
They were really hungry. So the angel spoke to them and they had ears to hear what he was
saying, but the rest were too busy. They were dying, poling, chucking dynamite and they had no
time to listen. So the angel spoke directly to the ones who were praying who had an ear to hear
and said, 'Now this is what you need to do. The river is coming and it is not too long before you
are going to see it turn the bend and head for your vessel. Now prepare your vessel, prepare your
vessel (he just kept saying that). You are to position yourself strategically on this vessel.' And to
those who were praying he said, 'You go here and you go there, you go here and you go there
and just wait.' And then he said, 'Take the poles and throw them overboard. They are only going
to destroy the work as the water starts to move. You need to get rid of those poles, you need to
throw them far away.' And then he said, 'You need to close up all these boxes and batten them
down. You need to tie them and strap them and then you need to bind yourself to one another.
You need to tie yourself to one another and then tie yourself to the vessel and prepare for a great
move. If you don't prepare and don't do what I am telling you to do, you will surely be
destroyed.' The angel then said, 'It has already hit this city, it has already hit that city, it has
already hit this country, it has already hit that country and it is coming down to you, it is coming
down, so get ready, get ready, prepare, prepare your vessel.'
He was naming cities; maybe Toronto, or Brownsville, or China or whatever and he was
saying 'It's coming.' And he was naming places and he was saying, 'You are next.' As he spoke
the fear of the Lord came upon us. So those who were praying were listening very intently and
began immediately to prepare to do everything that they were told to do, very diligently, very
obediently. Still no sign of the river, just the mist and the roar. Then suddenly around the bend
came this roll of water. I mean it was a wall of water. It wasn't a trickle, it wasn't a stream, there
was no rain and it was a wall of water that just totally covered the entire horizon. The trees
disappeared, the riverbed disappeared. In front of this rolling wall of water were dead bodies and
vessels that were being destroyed and turned under. Those who were praying said, 'What is that?'
and the angel said, 'I must go quickly now, there are other vessels in front of you, I must go tell
them what I have told you.' And he said, 'Those vessels are those who didn't prepare. But do not
fear, because as you have prepared, you will be carried. Look on top of the wall.' On top of the
wall of water over the crest there were the fronts of other vessels and they were making it. They
were singing and cheering and praising and riding this huge wall of water. Everybody on our
riverboat stood there shocked as this wall froze. The angel then just disappeared out of sight.
Now all that was taking up our attention was this wall of water. Those who saw it and were
prepared held on because they were tied down, they were ready. But those who hadn't prepared
started to run in all different directions onto the dry waterbed. And sure enough as the wall hit
these people got thrown around and turned under. But the vessel, because it was balanced and
because it was tied down, was just lifted up. And had it not been balanced with all of its people
in the right places, it could have easily been flipped over and all of its supplies lost. But
everything held intact. Everything was battened down, everybody was tied together and
everybody was bound to the vessel. And it was lifted up. At one point it almost flipped over. It
seemed like it was about to get destroyed, everything lost, we weren't going to make it, (maybe
we didn't pray enough). Then suddenly as it was almost going to flip over, it dropped down on
the top of the wave and we made it, we were on the top, we were riding it. Everyone shouted,
'This is wonderful, this is great, this is what it is all about?'
Then we turned around and there right behind us were other vessels, I mean hundreds of them
that made it. But it was like they were headed right for us. It seemed we came to this point and
here were these other vessels and we were going to collide and be destroyed. Someone shouted,
'Here comes one' and as it came upon us, we could see that they were in like condition. They
were battened down, they were prepared and they were the vessels who had heard the angel of
the Lord. Suddenly this other vessel became bigger than us and I couldn't understand that. The
100 vessels seemed to all merge together and become one vessel. It was headed for us. Here we
have this little vessel and this huge vessel is headed for us. We felt undone, 'This is it, it's over.'
As it got closer and closer, it was like sitting in a rowboat looking up at the Titanic. Here it
comes and BLAM! It ran into us. But instead of being destroyed, we became merged and
multiplied. We became one vessel.
We were now battened down, rather bonded together with 100's and 1,000's of other people,
with multiplied supplies all of which were going down river. The living bread, the living water
and all the dunamis of God, the gifts of healing. And I said, 'Lord what is next?' And He showed
me.
We continued to multiply as we ran down river. Another vessel would come up over the crest
and we were the bigger vessel, BLAM! We would plow into them, and they would become part
of us and BLAM! over and over again. And every time that happened, the river went over the
banks and the river kept getting bigger. And as the river went over the banks, the river kept
getting bigger, the boat got bigger and the boat got as big as the river so that everywhere the river
was the boat was. And the river was touching the banks. It kept getting bigger and bigger until
the river and the boat was as big as the banks and it was touching. Every time it touched the
bank, the people on board were sprung into action. The dunamis was getting pulled out and every
time there was obstacle in front of the boat, a man in armor would be blown it into pieces.
Then those in medical clothes would spring into action because we were right on the banks
where multitudes of people were, the sick, the dying from famines and those who had nothing to
drink. The people in medical clothes were mounting up loads of bread from on board and
buckets of water. They were standing on the edge of the boat, on the bank which was touching
the world, grabbing and pulling people in, force-feeding the bread, pouring into them the water
and applying the gifts of healing, while the warriors continually were throwing out the dynamite.
The vision ended with the entire river filling all the world, the boat filled all the world and
everything everywhere was being touched by the river and the boat."
Winter of 2001 a paraphrased segment of a prophetic word given out to a
congregation: Kim DeLorenz
"…For these waves that are hitting you now are preparing you for the massive wave that is to
come. For if you are going under with these, how will you stand when this hits? Many of you are
standing in ankle deep water with life vests on. What will you hold on to when this wave rolls
in?"
July 8, 2001 prophetic word given out to a congregation: Carmela Cavanagh
"….My wave is going to come and it's going to pound and pound your shoreline until every
superficial fortress and idol is swept away and if you do not hold on to Me you will be swept
away by this wave never to be seen again; you will be forgotten and nobody will remember
you…..
Also, there will be an attack and it will be regarding jealousy. Do not look at each other's
position because you are all positioned in My kingdom. Enjoy your positions since I placed you
there and not everybody will be a Moses, not everybody will be a Jacob. Just get with the
program this is how My kingdom works, so just enjoy the positions I have given you."
September 23, 2001 prophetic word given out to a congregation: Carmela
Cavanagh
"I am grieved because this first wave shocked you but it did not shake you enough to get you
out of your comfort zones. You are still stuck in your old patterns. I am forewarning you right
now that this second wave is going to be so severe and intense that it's going to toss you out of
your comfort zones so that you would not be able to do anything but cling to Me. I will break
everything in you that is not of Me so that what is going to remain is My holiness because you
need to be lightened up in order to remain afloat in this coming wave. The enemy has been
putting weights around you causing you to be heavy so you will sink when this new wave comes.
One of the causes of this weight is the use of your tongues. Some of you are wagging your
tongues relentlessly causing arrows to be released to pierce your brothers and sisters and to defile
this land. I am a Sovereign God. I am a merciful God but I am not a respecter of persons. You
can prophesy, you can win souls, you can intercede and you can preach, but you will still reap
what you sow. So if you sow defilement and curses, you will reap the same thing and your next
generation will reap the same thing.'
....In this final hour, I urge you to use your tongue wisely, before you even open your mouth to
grumble and complain, to give opinions and assessments, to gossip and slander, think about it
twice. You are better off shutting your mouth and listening to Me, being still and being quiet,
because I am speaking; I am speaking and you are not listening!"
December 21, 2001 a dream snippet: Barbara Mirrione
"…When I turned around I saw the BIGGEST wave I have ever seen…There was another wave
in front of us also…."
January 6, 2002 prophetic word given out to a congregation: Carmela Cavanagh
"Arise My watchmen, Arise!! Awake, I am calling you to go on top of the wall and see as far
as you can see and when you do that you will see this big wave coming. I have told you before
that there will be a heavy oppression and human cannonballs will be sent to oppress you. This
wave has these human cannonballs to oppress you and there is this heavy deception that has
already been released to deceive you. So do not rebel, do not argue, lay down your opinions, just
agree with Me, love one another and stay together, My watchmen so that when this wave comes
into your shoreline to oppress you and to remove every superficial fortress and idol there is, you
shall not be moved!
Beyond this wave is calm water with boats and boats of different sizes carrying My sheep and
lambs from different sheep pens that are wounded and sleeping. And I am bringing them to you
so that there shall be one flock and One Shepherd. I will ask you to show them where the gate is
that they can enter in and go out and find pasture, that they shall be saved and they shall have
life. I want you to teach them how to hear My voice that they shall follow Me. So, I am asking
you all to be watchmen right now, be alert, be alert and do not sleep."
January 6, 2002 prophetic word given out to a congregation: Diane Scalchunes
"and you shall have a spade among your tools, and it shall be when you sit down outside,
you shall dig with it and shall turn to cover up your excrement.”Since the LORD your God
walks in the midst of your camp to deliver you and to defeat your enemies before you,
therefore your camp must be holy; and He must not see anything indecent among you lest
He turn away from you" (Deut 23:13-14 NAS).
"Now is not the time to be caught in a sin confess, sin confess, sin confess pattern; because a
wave is coming that will be glorious to some and yet to others this wave will bring havoc in their
lives by the tormentors riding in on it.
Do not be deceived into thinking that you have been stuck in these patterns for a long time yet
you have felt My presence, heard My voice and felt My love. That was My hedge of protection
around you. I am removing that now and giving you instead the grace to go outside the camp and
ask for the grace of conviction for true repentance to occur. For if you have any sin uncovered
with the blood of My Son, the tormentors will be drawn to that and I will not be able to protect
you. I am not talking about sinless perfection. I am talking about those areas you know I have
been after in your lives. Also you know that the tormentors are released upon those who have not
forgiven."
February 3, 2002 a vision received at a Sunday service: Peter Scalchunes
"I had a vision of the boat in the movie, A Perfect Storm, as it was going straight up the wave.
Next I saw the scene from Dennis Bambino's wave vision where the intercessors were tied
together praying and I heard the Lord say, 'Grab hold.'"
HOW TO STAND:
There is a remedy that will cause us to stand against the waves that are surely going to come
and it is passion for the Lord Jesus. If we are rooted and grounded in His love we will be able to
stand under any conditions.
December 31, 2001 prophetic word given at a prayer group: Diane Scalchunes
"And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but
God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the
sight of God" (Luke 16:15).
"You are to look at Me and not the church for many who you think will be exalted will come
down and those who you think will come down will be exalted. For only I know what is in the
heart of man and only I know what I am looking for in a human heart. I am looking for those
with the heart of David. Those are My leaders. David was a man after My own heart. He wanted
My hand, He wanted My ways, He wanted My will, but more than all these combined, he wanted
My heart. For when a lover reveals a piece of his heart, you fall more in love with him and more
passion is released into the relationship. That passion is what you must be rooted and grounded
in. Know this, that I only reveal My heart to those who will not break it."■
