Vietnam War Music Project Rubric
In groups of two, you will choose a song in either support or protest of the Vietnam War.
Using a manila folder, the students will highlight the lyrics of the song and how it relates to
the Vietnam War.
You must include…
 The song’s title
 The song’s writer/artist
 The year the song was written/recorded
 The influence behind the writing of the song (Is it anti-war or pro-war?)
 How it relates to the Vietnam War
 An analysis of the lyrics
 A picture of the artist/writer
 At least 3 images relating to the song
