EMPLOYMENT DETAILS FOR IMAGINE SALON SYDNEY AUSTRALIA.
Due to the level of interest shown in this position the last time it was advertised and the
difficulties in trying to communicate with prospective candidates for the position.
We at Imagine have outlined some information concerning the potential employment at
Imagine and the work sponsorship that goes with it. As you can imagine with the
logistics it is very difficult to interview people face to face so to save time for all
concerned. Please consider and read carefully the following notes before applying for
the position as a high degree of commitment is required and should not be taken lightly.
THE SALON
Imagine is located in the affluent North Shore of Sydney. In a designer shopping centre
called The Chatswood Chase where the salon has a reputation for excellent customer
service and premium hairdressing. The salon is owned by Reuben who has had salons
in the UK and is now looking to grow salons within Sydney.
At present we are looking for Stylists/Trainer to complement the team of ten that we
already have. The team are a great group of creative all rounders and who are fun to
work with. The salon caters to a wide demographic ranging from Students , families,
professionals to men. Imagine is a full service salon so candidates must possess
creative all round skills to cater to our diverse clientele.
Imagine is a platinum Wella colour salon and a Kerastase Partnership salon. Imagine
also carries GHD , American crew, Sebastian, SP and high hair. The salon also offers
hair extensions and Japanese thermal straightening.
THE CONTRACT.
When sponsoring an employee for a work visa the employer has a great many
responsibilities to the government for the well being of the employee whilst in Australia.
Due to these responsibilities Imagine has a sponsorship contract as well as a standard
employment contract to cover any conditions of the sponsorship that would not be up
held by the employee. These for example could be Repatriation, deportation, illness,
breaking the law e.t.c.
To enable Imagine to cover the costs of such incidents, wages are to be held 1 month in
arrears and any costs would be born by the employee. The process of coming to
Australia and working via sponsoring is a very serious one and should only be
considered by applicants very committed to wanting to pursue a life here for Minimum 2
years visas can be extended to 4years if all parties are willing.
Sponsorships are available to all applicants, but due to the nature of sponsorships. The
imagine salons criteria for applicants is as follows.
Under 30 and able to enter Australia on their own working visa(individual to organize ).
UK resident/passport holder.
Single candidates preferred (as employer assumes responsibility for spouses and
children).

Medical insurance is required and can be deferred from wage.
On completion of 2 years service a return ticket will be paid for by Imagine as an
appreciation of the employees commitment and the potential for further sponsorship.
A more detailed contract will be made available on offer of employment.
To finish Sydney is fantastic vibrant city which deserves the recognition as one of the
best cities in the world to live. Please be aware that Australia is culturally different than
the UK and when moving it isn’t all fun and games. Finding accommodation ,meeting
new friends and being away from close ones can make living in another country very
difficult. The work side of things we can make very easy for you to settle and we can
offer a great team and salon to succeed and develop within.
