Celebrating France! Make a film about France or your favourite French hero or place and win a day trip to Paris! The Task: Research your favourite French hero or a place in France or choose a French product and make a short film (3 mins max) The Prize: A day trip to Paris for a class of up to 30 on Eurostar including travel within Paris, refreshments and entry to the Eiffel Tower. Format: A film (on AVI or MPEG format) Please emailed to: angela@francobritishcouncil.org.uk Content: Who is your hero in France? Dead or alive choose the coolest person and tell us all about them and why YOU think they are cool. Or pick a place or event in France or even a French object. Style: Whatever you like! You can write a pop song, create a hymn for your school choir to sing, devise a comedy sketch or play or make a speech. You decide and then create the music and the props and film it! Audience : Fellow teenagers at schools across London Language: English or French! Films: Individual entries or group/class entries all welcome Competition Opens: 1st January 2014 Competition Closes: 4th April 2014 Top Tips: 1. Be creative and have fun with your ideas. We are looking for films that are entertaining well researched films with passion. 2. Entries that make creative use of limited resources will be very welcome 3. Don’t think you have to go to France and make a beautiful film with lots of high tech equipment. 4. Pupils who write and produce their whole film in their classroom or school playground in a lively and appealing way are just as likely to win.
