Meeting 2/2009 of the Bachelor of Business and Commerce Integrated Course Advisory, Executive
and Honours Group of the Faculty of Business and Economics will be held at 3:00pm on Friday 20th
March 2009 at the Gippsland Campus.

*8.3 Bachelor of Business and Commerce Course Objectives – Professor
Rob Brooks
FEC 6/08 approved the following course objectives after recommendations
from the Undergraduate retreat. The Course Director is requesting final
feedback/support for this wording.
The Bachelor of Business and Commerce aims to produce graduates who:
(a) are critical and creative scholars who;
 produce innovative solutions to problems
 apply research skills to business challenges
 communicate effectively and perceptively
(b) are responsible and effective global citizens who:
 engage in an international world
 exhibit cross cultural competence
 demonstrate ethical values
(c) have a comprehensive understanding of their discipline and who are able
to provide discipline based solutions to business problems.

Central Gippsland Institute of TAFE
A report on the students entering the Bachelor of Business and Commerce
