Greetings in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
It is that time again for our National Ushers to come together and work at our 2011 National
Convocation. This year the National Convocation will be held July 13-17, 2011, at the Hilton North
Raleigh, 3415 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, North Carolina
Our National president, Bro. Johnny O’ Neal, is asking for 8 ushers from each (6 ushers for the
services and 2 alternates for the meetings and seminars.) Please specify which day (Thursday, Friday,
Saturday, or Sunday) and which time (morning, afternoon, or evening) each usher will work.
PLEASE SCHEDULE YOUR USHERS ON DIFFERENT DAYS, IF ALL POSSILE!!! We
appreciate not having all the ushers from the same church working the same day.
Attention presidents, PLEASE REMIND YOUR USHERS THAT THEY ARE TO BE IN
COMPLETE UNIFORM FOR THE NATIONAL CONVOCATION.
Men-Black Suits, White Shirts, Black ties(no stripes, polka dots, etc.,) black socks,
and black shoes (winged tip)
Women-White uniform(no short sleeves), white hosiery(NO DESIGNS), white gloves,
white shoes, and white tams
Presidents, please let your ushers know that JEWELRY is not to be worn, unless it is a wedding
ring/band or a watch.
A deadline for names to be sent in to the National Assistant Secretary, Sister Tonia A. Jordan, is
