Objective:
To take up a challenging work in biological science and contribute significantly with my technical
knowledge and analytical skills towards human welfare and personal excellence.
Present Position:
Working as an assistant professor at Department of Botany Microbiology, College of Science, King
Saud University, Saudi Arabia (From Feb. 2013).
Previous Position:
 Worked as a Post Doc researcher in Department of Microbiology, Grassland and Forage
Division, National Institute of Animal Science (RDA), South Korea (From Nov. 2012-Oct.
2013).
 Worked as a research professor at Bioenvironmental Chemistry Department, Chungnam
National University, Daejeon, South Korea (From Mar. 2012-Oct. 2012).
 Worked as a Post Doc researcher in Biochemical Engineering Department, Pusan National
University, Busan, South Korea (From Jan. 2011-Feb-2012).
 Worked as a research scientist in Bioprocess Engineering Department, at Nagarjuna Fertilizers

 Involved in Isolation of active molecule from plants and their effects on insect pest
(ERI, Loyola College, Chennai).
Scientific Achievements:
 Isolated a new Klebsiella pnemoniae J2B strain which is having less lipopolysaccharide
for the production of 3-HP & 1,3-PDO. Deposited in Korean Culture Collection Center
under the accession number (KCCM 11213P). Korean patent filed.
 Pseudomonas species SP2 capable of producing Vitamin B12 used for the production
of 3-HP was isolated and deposited with Korean Collection for Type Cultures (KCTC),
Biological Resource Center (BRC), Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and
Biotechnology (KRIBB), Republic of South Korea and given the accession number
KACC91720P.

microorganisms, which are procured from various collection centers.

Culture maintenance and preservation

Inoculum development and checking the purity for mass multiplication

Substrate selection and optimization of pH, temperature, agitation substrate, nitrogen selection and C/N
ratio optimization at shake flask level.

Scale up of the process from shake flask to fermentor level (5L) to establish the stabilized process and
