JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE PRD GRADUATE ELECTRONICS PAGE 1 OF 2 REPORTING TO SENIOR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER LOCATION STOWMARKET Objective To participate in the Electronics Department of PRD, and interact with other areas of the PRD Department to gain an understanding of the PRD function from an Electronics perspective. This opportunity is for one year but may lead to additional opportunities. Main Responsibilities 1. Offering assistance/support to the various Electronics Engineers, in the guise of Team Members on projects. 2. Involvement in the formulation of laboratory and field test programmes, building prototypes, undertaking tests, analysing results and providing written reports with conclusions on this work. 3. To participate in the design, specification, fabrication and testing of electronic circuits where appropriate. 4. Undertake development work by thinking through a problem and testing such potential solutions as are required to resolve the problem. 5. To perform general housekeeping tasks as the need arises to support the above activities. 6. Any other task deemed appropriate by the Senior Electronics Engineer and within the capabilities of the post holder. Person Specification Criteria Essential Educational Qualifications A graduate of Electronics Engineering degree course or equivalent Technical Skills MS Office Knowledge of electronic components Building electronic breadboards PIC microcontroller programming.
