DIEZ COSAS EN LA CAJA SOBRE YO MISMO
Presentation Directions:
You are to choose 10 different things in your house that represent something about who
you are, your likes or dislikes, etc. You are to place these things in a box and bring them
to class to use for your presentation.
You will then orally present your items to the class one at a time and describe why you
chose each item in the box to represent you. (You are introducing yourself and allowing
your peers to get to know about you and your likes and dislikes.)




This presentation part will be done SOLELY in SPANISH.
You must use 10 DIFFERENT VERBS in Spanish to describe why each item
represents you:
5 VERBS MUST BE PRESENT TENSE REGULAR AND IRREGULAR
5 VERBS MUST BE IN THE PRETERIT FORM.
*For each item you introduce to the class, you may NOT start each sentence off with Me
gusta……. For each item you MUST use 2 sentences to describe why chose it.
Ex: baseball = una pelota de béisbol
“Esto es mi pelota de béisbol. Yo juego al béisbol para el equipo de la escuela. Mi padre
y yo practicamos mucho el béisbol en el parque el verano pasado.”
*This project will count as a journal grade/quiz grade. It will be an oral journal and
there is nothing written due. You may however, use note cards for yourself.
*Please be prepared to present on your assigned day; and if absent, you must be prepared
to present the following day. If not ready to present or illegally absent from class, you
will receive a zero.
Rubric:
Each sentence is worth 3 pts. 2 pts. for the verb and tense and 1 pt. for the rest of the
sentence, like a normal journal. Therefore, for each object you must say two sentences
and each exchange will be worth a total of 6 pts. And the journal will be out of 100 pts:
Use this to grade yourself and as a check list and also hand this in with your presentation.
Rubrics not handed back will result in loss of pts.
