In order to support SFUSD’s Health Education Policy which mandates 30 lessons per 6-8 grade level each
year, please identify at least one teacher to attend each of the different Professional Development offerings

learn HIV/STD positive prevention education skills
developed by the American Red Cross.
This workshop will focus on prevention of substance
abuse and educational prevention strategies that
allow students to hear information that will influence
their decision-making.
Create a safer school climate for all LGBTQ
students with an emphasis on reducing health
disparities of LGBTQ Youth.
Review Nutrition Education curriculum and tips and
resources to include a student & staff Wellness
focus and prepare for Nutrition Health Awareness
Month (March).
