VEDN Asset Auditor Training (Module 4)
Module purpose
This module provides the learner with the knowledge,
skills and competencies to be able to conduct audits
associated with the Distribution Network infrastructure.
For whom
All personnel who require authorisation to conduct
audits:
 Approved Worksite Auditor (Civil)
 Approved Worksite Auditors (Electrical)
 Approved Network Auditor (Electrical)
Prerequisites
Prerequisites vary between the three Auditor
classifications, and may include:
 VEDN UG Electrical Infrastructure Training Mod. 1
 VESI Non Electrical Training Module 2
(for Electrical Auditors not Civil Auditors)
 Network Training & Authorisation (if applicable)
 First Aid
Delivery
This module shall be presented by a person with
qualification of at least:
 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
 Suitable auditing experience

 Copy of “Network Compliance Audit Report –
Construction Projects” per person
CLASS SET (retained by Trainer)
 Copy of Construction Standards per person.
Suggested format is to assemble a copy in order as
indicated in the “Construction Standards and
Index.doc” and to include:
o OH&S act
o Electricity Safety Act
o Electricity Safety (Network Assts) Regs
o Construction Standards (7 in total)
 Copy of Audit Photo Samples per participant
 Copy of Featherbrook Estate Plan (A2 minimum)
