We offer a blood-taking service for those happy to wait for a pre-booked
appointment in advance or those unable to get to the above places.
FASTING
Some (not all) blood tests require you to fast (have nothing to eat or drink
except water) for 10-12 hours prior to the test. Your doctor will let you know
if this is necessary. If your doctor has asked you to “fast” please tick the box
marked “fasted” on the form if this has not already been done.
HOW TO GET YOUR RESULTS
Please phone Dukes Avenue Practice ONE WEEK after your test. The results
line is open from 10.30am, daily M-F. We will endeavour to contact you
about urgent abnormal results, but as there are sometimes difficulties getting
hold of people it is in your interests to phone in - 020 8365 3303
