1915. The huckleberry swamp 1/2 South of Otter Lake MI became popular with people from Flint etc
[took the Flint/Fostoria railway to get there, which is now called the "huckleberry railroad"].
1923. Otter Lake MI had the largest ice houses anywhere in MI, the lake was spring fed and produced
