enthusiasm for ContiFanWorld

Hanover, May 2005. Already over 89,000 users from more
than 200 countries have registered on Continental's online
games platform - www.ContiFanWorld.com - and played in
excess of 3 million matches. "The response to our games,
which change regularly and become increasingly more
difficult, has been thoroughly positive. Visitors have
registered from as far away as Norway and South Africa, as
well as from Malaysia and the USA" recounts a delighted
Dirk Rockendorf, head of e-business for the Car Tyres
Replacement Market and responsible for ContiFanWorld,
adding "What we offer in terms of online games seems to
have hit the right spot".

The game currently running is ContiSoccerChallenge, where
users have to shoot footballs through different round objects.
Everyone scoring more than the minimum number of points
gets to the next level. Every month the best players can win
attractive prizes - such as two tickets to the 2006 FIFA World
CupTM, for example. The next set of games already have a
fixed starting date, with the ContiFanQuiz going online in
October 2005 and ContiCityPicture in January 2006. All
registered users will, however, also receive an e-mail
reminder about the start of the next game.
Already available online in seven languages.
Following the launch in the four official FIFA languages
German, English, French and Spanish, Continental has
added an Italian, a Dutch and most recently a Turkish
version to ContiFanWorld. That means ContiFanWorld is
now already available online in seven languages.

Flashforward Award 2005 in the Games category.
The positive response of the registered users is also shared
by various panels of judges. ContiFanWorld, for example,
was chosen as the best online games website in the highly
reputed American Flashforward competition 2005 in San
Francisco. "A great success for us and for our internet

As an Official Partner of the 2006 FIFA World CupTM,
Continental naturally also uses part of its quota of World Cup
tickets as prizes, which can be won in the draw by some of
the over 89,000 registered users. Some are awarded to
winners of individual games, whilst in early 2006 there will be
a general draw for all registered users. Winners will be
notified by e-mail.
