Remembering our Dead: Purgatorial envelopes are available at the back of the Church. Please fill
in the list of those relatives and friends whom you would like to remember. They will be prayed for,
each Sunday during the month of November and on each First Friday throughout the year.
Remembrance Mass: Mass for those who have died during the past year will be said on Friday,
November 15th at 7.00p.m. Anyone who would like their relative named at that Mass please hand
in the name of the deceased to the Sacristy.
Mass in Kilmurry Cemetery on Sunday, November 17th at 3.00p.m.
Prayers in Ballysimon on Sunday, November 10th at 3.00p.m. and in Killonan Cemetery on Sunday,
November 10th at 4.00p.m.

Adoration: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will continue on Tuesday morning, November 5th
after Mass until 12 noon.

Shoeboxes: It's that time of year once again - time to fill the Shoeboxes. Each box should contain a
Facecloth, Soap, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Hat, Gloves, and a Small Soft Toy. If desired, Pencil, Pencil
Sharpener and Small Bag of Sweets may also be included. Boxes for Boys aged 12 - 14 are mostly in
short supply, we are asked to keep this age group in mind. Filled Shoeboxes can be delivered to
Alison Godchild, Tel. 085/1203549 at Provincial Glass and Mirror Warehouse, Annacotty Business
Park from 11th November for 12 days.
Pilgrimage to the Holy Land: An educational pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2014, April 24th to May
4th. Approx. cost: €1,600 pps. Full details available on the Church Notice Board.
Public Lecture on Liturgy: Will take place on Friday, Nov. 22nd at 7.30p.m. in Renehan Hall, St.
Patrick’s College, Maynooth, also a Music Workshop for Choirs, Cantors and Leaders on Saturday,
Nov. 23rd from 9.30a.m. to 4.00p.m. Details on Notice Board in the Church.
G.A.A. News: Well done to Monaleen U13 Boys and U13 Girls who won the City Schools Football
Finals in the Gaelic Grounds. Monaleen boys won against Milford and the girls won against St.
Nessan’s. A big Thank You to the teachers, parents and all the happy supporters.
Senior Football Championship Final: Well done to our senior football team who lost out narrowly
to Dromcollogher Broadford in the Limerick County Final on a scoreline of 2-9 to 2-7. The team and
mentors have put in a fantastic effort throughout the year to reach another County Final but
ultimately just came up short in a tight, tough and tense County Final.
Juvenile Football Training: Please note that U-5/U-6 (2007’s and 2008’s) Football training will
resume on Tuesday, Nov. 5th at 6.00p.m. in St. Vincent’s Gym, Lisnagry. The U-7’s (2006’s) training
will be from 7.00p.m. in St. Vincent’s from Tuesday, 5th Nov. Contact relevant coaches for exact
details.
Monaleen Bridge Club: Are now starting new Bridge Year and meet every Thurs.at 7.45pm in
