Your presentation should include 4 parts: an invitation to your Krewe’s Mardi Gras Ball a written report an oral presentation to the class a replica of your Krewe’s parade float Le reportage des Krewes -Your written and oral report should include the following information: 1. The name of the Krewe (Le Krewe s’appelle…) 2. How or when did the Krewe begin? (Ce krewe a été fondé) 3. Who is allowed to join? (_________ peut être membre du krewe) 4. What is the symbol of your Krewe? (Qu’est-ce que le symbole réprésente?) (2 phrases) 5. Who was selected queen and king? (On a choisi ________la reine et le roi) 6. Which day of the week is your float (le char) on parade (le défilé)? What route does it take through the city? 7. What are the colors of your krewe and do they represent anything? 8. Any other interesting facts/history particular to the Krewe. -This report will be presented in class on Monday and Tuesday, February 11,12, 2013. -It should be divided equally between the partners to be said aloud without reading it (at least six sentences each).
