On joint motion of all Councilmembers present, the following resolution was offered:
RESOLUTION NO. 120026
A resolution approving Docket No. OM-22-12, to demolish the existing
1,310 square foot residential structure and construct a 224 square foot
cabana, carport, swimming pool, and remove the 20” DBH Magnolia
located at 110 Vincent Ave.; and to perform exterior renovations to the
existing 1,218 square foot accessory building located at 112 Vincent Ave.
in accordance with the development drawings identified as Sheets A1,
A1.1, A1.3, and A1.4, last revised on October 29, 2012; Sheets A1.2 and
A2, last revised on October 10, 2012; Sheets A3, and A4, dated
September 10, 2012; and Sheet G1 last revised on August 20, 2012

Metairie Neighborhood Conservation District (OMNCD) at 110 / 112
Vincent Ave., on Lot 4-B, Sq. 2, Vincent Subdivision; bounded by Avenue
B, Duplessis Street, and Betz Avenue, zoned R-1B / OMNCD. (Council
District 5)
WHEREAS, the Jefferson Parish Council authorized the OMC to review certain
development proposals within the OMNCD by Ordinance Number 18547, dated July 1,
1992, and;
WHEREAS, the OMC held a public hearing on October 25, 2012, as required by
law and recommended approval of the above referenced site plan as indicated by the
Old Metairie Commission Chairman’s signature dated November 21, 2012, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Adjustments held a public hearing and
approved the appeal for variances to the height, setback, and rear yard coverage
requirements for the existing 1,218 square foot accessory building located at 112
Vincent Ave. on December 3, 2012, as required by law.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCIL,
ACTING AS GOVERNING AUTHORITY OF JEFFERSON PARISH, LOUISIANA:
Section I. That the Jefferson Parish Council hereby approves Docket No. OM22-12, to demolish the existing 1,310 square foot residential structure and construct a
224 square foot cabana, carport, swimming pool, and remove the 20” DBH Magnolia
located at 110 Vincent Ave.; and to perform exterior renovations to the existing 1,218
square foot accessory building located at 112 Vincent Ave.; in accordance with the
development drawings identified as Sheets A1, A1.1, A1.3, and A1.4, last revised on
October 29, 2012; Sheets A1.2 and A2, last revised on October 10, 2012; Sheets A3,
and A4, dated September 10, 2012; and Sheet G1 last revised on August 20, 2012
prepared by Charles L. Silbernagel & Associates, Inc. Architects in the OMNCD at 110 /
112 Vincent Ave., on Lot 4-B, Sq. 2, Vincent Subdivision; bounded by Avenue B,

Section II. That the Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement is hereby
authorized to proceed with the building permit process on the above referenced
proposal, subject to all pertinent Parish codes.
Section III. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to send a
certified copy of this resolution and all relevant attachments to the following parties:
Director, Planning Department;
Director, Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement;
Supervisor, Plan Review Section, Department of Inspection and Code
Enforcement;

The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was
