Royal Botanical Society of Belgium 1st Annual Meeting on Plant Ecology and Evolution (AMPEE1) 30 November 2012 First circular Venue 2012: Auditorium, National Botanic Garden of Belgium, Meise Aim: with this initiative, the Botanical Society wants to replace its traditional “Young botanists’ day” by a more general event for a broader audience interested in ecology and evolution of plants. Why participate? Especially master students, doctorandi and postdocs will appreciate the opportunity of personal contact with other scientists from the country working in their field. Programme: -Invited Keynote lectures will review recent advances in ecology, phylogeny and systematics -Oral communications proposed by participants -Poster session All plant groups and all ecosystems are welcome. Doctoral students and postdocs are encouraged to present results related to their ongoing projects (lectures and posters).
