JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinating professional development of Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy
Technicians and Physiotherapy Interns. This position participates actively in training
and coordinating Education Programmes for Saudi trainees and new staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct development and training needs assessment within the department.

Formulates plans to ensure that Physiotherapist and Physiotherapy
Technician’s Clinical Skills and Knowledge meet the requirements of the
department and that of the program.

Infection Control
English/Arabic Language
Standardized assessment forms.
Knowledge of assessment and skills of treatment.
Plan and conduct Physiotherapy awareness campaigns for both the program

Give lecture for Physiotherapy Technician.
Develop a schedule for Physiotherapy Technician Practicum.

Set standards/competency level to be attained by Physiotherapy Technicians to
ensure that they easily fit in the profession requirements and that of the
employing hospital.

Responsible for clinical supervision of the Physiotherapy Interns and
Physiotherapy Technician trainees.

Liaise with the Physiotherapists in other sections to ensure constant supply of
patients for the students and interns and to get feedback regarding their
performance.

To develop/update/compile protocols and exercise programme for the
Physiotherapy Department.
2.12
To compile and advice regarding the selection and purchasing of equipment
suitable for the usage of the Physiotherapy Department.
2.13
To perform clinical work as part of the clinical requirements set by the Head of
Department.
HOURS OF WORK:
48 hours per week as allocated by the Head of Department.

REQUIREMENTS:
4.1
Qualifications or Relevant Experience:
4.1.1
Western male/female.
4.1.2
B.S. Physiotherapy or equivalent.
4.1.3
License in country of origin.
4.1.4
Extensive in clinical experience minimum of 10 years.
4.1.5
Experience with clinical supervision of students, interns and
technicians.
4.1.6
Teaching experience and post graduate degree or diploma in teaching is
desirable.
4.1.7
Must have Management experience.
