We work across a large spectrum of areas which are listed below. The service treats a wide range of conditions: Acute and chronic musculoskeletal limb and spinal pain/conditions, falls, dementia, COPD, fractures, planned and traumatic orthopaedic surgery, abdominal / GI surgery, stroke, learning disabilities, MI, paediatric developmental neurological and orthopaedic conditions, amputees, Acquired Brain Injury, Progressive neurological disorders eg MS. 0830 - 1630 ( Times may alter dependent on clinical area) Physiotherapy uniform – white tunic / polo shirt, navy trousers, smart trainers or black shoes Trust induction and local induction http://www.iow.nhs.uk/Working-With-Us/learning-zone/studentwelcome.html Staff / rest room facilities Expectations during placement Canteen and coffee shop available on St Mary’s Hospital site.
