Prize Details
The winner will be entitled to a prize of up to $10,000 towards their Old Mill Toronto wedding in
2015 and a complimentary wedding night stay in a King Suite. The draw date is Monday January
5, 2015 and the prize will need to be fulfilled by December 31, 2015.
Prize Rules
A. Limit of one (1) Entry per couple. Please read below for all rules and regulations. Contest
closes on Wednesday December 31, 2014.
B. The prize must be fulfilled before December 31, 2015 or the prize shall be forfeited. The prize
cannot be transferred.
C. The prize has a retail value of up to Ten Thousand Dollars (CDN $10,000) and cannot be
exchanged for other goods or services or substituted for cash.
D. The overnight deluxe suite has a value of eight hundred and ninety nine Dollars (CDN 899.00)
and cannot be exchanged for other goods or services or substituted for cash.
E. In the event the wedding value exceeds $10,000, the balance over the $10,000 plus applicable
tax and gratuity is payable in full fourteen (14) days prior to Wedding date.
F. In the event the wedding is less then $10,000, the difference will not be refunded and cannot
be exchanged for other goods or services.
G. Cancelled 2015 Wedding bookings are forfeited from contest entry.
H. Postponed Weddings past 2015 date are forfeited from contest entry.
I. Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Old Mill Toronto
reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the
described prize cannot be awarded for any reason.
Official Contest Rules & Regulations
In order to be declared a winner a potential winner must be in compliance with these official
Contest Rules and Regulations.
1. ELIGIBILITY - To be eligible for this contest, an individual must:
A. Be a legal resident of Canada
B. Legally be able to be married
C. Must be getting married in 2015
D. Be the age of majority in his/her province of residence or older at the time of entry, age
nineteen (19)
E. Be able to use the prize by December 31, 2015
F. Answer correctly a mathematical skill-testing question
2. CONTEST PERIOD
The contest begins at 8:00 a.m. Thursday April 25, 2013 and closes at midnight on Wednesday
December 31, 2014. (“Contest Period”). The winner will be drawn on Friday January 3, 2015.
3. HOW TO ENTER
Booking your wedding date from January 1, 2015 – December 31, 2015 and securing your
booking with a non-refundable deposit will automatically enter you in the Win Your Wedding
Contest.
WINNER SELECTION; One (1) Winner shall be selected as follows:
A. On Friday January 2, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, One (1) potential winner will be
selected by a random draw from all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected as a
potential winner are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.
B. An Old Mill Toronto employee must be able to reach the potential winner by email WHOM
MUST RESPOND WITHIN Five (5) BUSINESS DAYS OF NOTIFICATION. Upon
notification the selected potential winner must respond by telephone to the contact number
provided in the notification, and the selected potential winner’s response must be received by
Old Mill Toronto within five (5) business days of such notification. If the selected potential
winner does not respond in accordance with these Contest Rules, he/she will be disqualified
and will not receive a prize and another alternate winner will be selected. If a potential or
declared winner is not in compliance with these Official Contest Rules and Regulations, the
Contest Judges reserve the right to disqualify such entrant from the Contest and randomly
select further entrants from the remaining eligible entries until a winner is finally declared.
C. The potential winner must correctly answer, and within a set time frame, a mathematical skilltesting question administered by an Old Mill Toronto employee by email and to comply with
these Contest Rules.
D. Employees of Old Mill Toronto and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies,
advertising and promotional agencies and the household member and/or the immediate family
of any of the above are not eligible to participate in the Contest. For the purpose of these
Contest Rules, “immediate family” means husband, wife, spouse, common law spouse,
mother, father, brother, sister, son and/or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same
household.
E. Old Mill Toronto has the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to
participate in the contest. Failure to provide such proof within a reasonable period of time (up
to 72 hours) may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by
and supplied to the Old Mill Toronto for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful,
complete, accurate and in no way misleading and reserves the right to disqualify any entry or
entrant in its and their sole discretion, should any entry or entrant at any stage contain and/or
supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
RELEASE
Confirm the Winners (i) eligibility for the Contest and compliance with these Contest Rules: (ii)
acceptance of the prize as offered; (iii) release of Old Mill Toronto and their parent companies
a, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and
administrators (collectively, the “Releases”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm,
damages, cost or expenses arising out of participation in this Contest, participation in any
Contest related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, including without
limitation costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or
destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light,
or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom; and (iv) grant to Old Mill
Toronto the unrestricted right, in collective or individual discretion to produce, reproduce,
publish, broadcast, communicate by Name, photograph, likeness, voice and biography, in any
and all media now known or hereafter devised, in connection with the Contest and the
promotion and exploitation thereof. The executed release must be returned within seven (7)
business days after they are confirmed to be the contest winner or the selected potential winner
will be disqualified and the prize forfeited.
INDEMNIFICATION BY ENTRANT
By entering the Contest, entrant releases and holds Releases harmless from any and all liability
for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant and releases any other person,
including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or
indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in this Contest,
any breach of these Contest Rules or in any prize-related activity. The entrant agrees to fully
indemnify Releases from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, without
limitation.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Old Mill Toronto assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete
notifications, responses, replies or any Release, or for any computer, online, telephone, hardware,
software or technical malfunctions that may occur. The Old Mill Toronto is not responsible for
any injury or damage to entrant or to any computer related to or resulting from participating in
this Contest. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating
in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize.
CONDUCT
By entering the Contest, entrant agrees to be bound by these Contest Rules, which will be
available on line at oldmilltoronto.com throughout the Contest Period. Entrant agrees to be bound
by the decisions of the Old Mill Toronto, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Old
Mill Toronto reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be (a)
violating the Contest Rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the
operation of the Contest; (c) violating their terms of service, conditions of use and/or general
rules or guidelines of any Old Mill Toronto property or service; and/or (d) acting in an un
sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, harass any other
person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE CONTEST
WEBSITE OR ANY RELATED WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE
OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL
LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, OLD MILL TORONTO RESERVE THE
RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED
BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
PRIVACY / USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Entrant grants Old Mill Toronto the right to: (a) use his/her personal information for the purpose
of administering the Contest; (b) use his or her name, photograph, likeness, voice, prize
information and/or biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without
compensation and (c) use his or her name and his or her respective city and province of residence
in connection with the Contest Web site, other related web sites and/or any other media known or
hereafter devised. Personal information will not be provided to any third party other then as
provided for in these Contest rules. Old Mill Toronto and any third party agents of Old Mill
Toronto will use personal information only for purposes related to this Contest and will be
required to protect all personal information in a manner that is consistent with the Old Mill
Toronto Privacy Policy.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs,
promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans, and
representations are owned by Old Mill Toronto and/or their affiliates. All rights reserved.
Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the
express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
TERMINATION
Old Mill Toronto reserves the right, in their sole discretion to cancel, amend, modify or terminate
all or any portion of this Contest at any time for any reason without prior notice.
LAW
These are the official Contest Rules. This Contest is subject to applicable federal, provincial
and municipal laws and regulations. These Contest rules are subject to change without notice in
order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any
other entity having jurisdiction over the Old Mill Toronto.
