BRUCE Databases Viclink and the Gulliver committee present a range of database options for any library in Australia and New Zealand BRUCE - Bibliographic Resources under a consortia environment. The Gulliver Committee is proud to present BRUCE. BRUCE offers libraries a choice of databases beyond the core group provided through Gulliver or any other consortia arrangement. Libraries can pick and choose databases that complement their collection. Any library in Australia and New Zealand can join Bruce. There is a small joining fee of $250.00 for non Gulliver members. Each database has been evaluated using our established criteria and pricing has been obtained. Pricing is based on the number of libraries who choose a database. The price of course is less if more libraries choose it. Attached is a synopsis of each database on offer and pricing. Libraries who are interested in joining BRUCE can nominate which databases they want and the vendor will individually invoice each library. Access is via IP, password or referring web page, all databases enable remote access and statistics will be available. Subscriptions will not commence until 1st July 2002.
