CENSUS DAY 6 November 2014
The School Workforce Census (SWC) is part of a series of data collections required by the
Department for Education. It is a mandatory data collection which covers all English schools in the
maintained sector.
The deadline for submitting the return via to Schools to Schools website is on Friday 14 November
2014. Please contact me or one of my team if you need help: should you require technical
assistance please contact your MIS Support (usually the 3BM Support team, on 020 7605 8322).
All workforce data is owned by the school and consequently it will be the school’s responsibility
to ensure that the appropriate data is collected and stored on SIMS; you should also ensure that
Privacy Notices have been issued to all staff.
