Recycling Construction and Demolition Debris

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle... An Essential Approach for Protecting the Environment and Saving Building

Costs!

Did you know that construction and demolition debris now occupies 35-50% of our landfill? While construction recycling has numerous benefits for our community and the environment, it also has great potential for lowering job site costs. By implementing programs that recycle wood, metals, and other debris on job sites, hauling costs will be reduced and the useful life of our landfill will be extended.

Fort Collins Natural Resources Department has construction and demolition recycling information on this website: http://www.fcgov.com/recycling/centers.php?ID=55 . For more general recycling information please visit: http://www.fcgov.com/recycling/
