In addition to this, students from other fields of study can also apply for a scholarship but, in
case of equally ranked applications, priority will be given to the student majoring in a
prioritised field of study.

Duration:
Duration of the scholarship can vary from 1 to 36 months depending on the academic
level:

Insurance costs:


All grant holders are insured by a central Group Insurance. In order to arrange their
insurance, grant holders fill out their travel dates on the Grant Holder Pages. Based
upon these dates, the EXPERTS secretariat will apply for insurance for the period that
they are abroad. They will receive the insurance certificate by email, to be used during
visa application.
Note: the project's health insurance does not cover any medical cost that is due to
chronic illnes or health problems acquired previously to the mobility.
Participation costs:

The tuition fees are covered by the project.
Travel costs:


One return ticket will be provided by the coordinator by means of booking via a
central travel agency. Self-purchased tickets will not be reimbursed.
Amount of Travel Costs: depending on the distance.
Start and End of the Mobility:

For EXPERTS SUSTAIN, it is mandatory for all individual mobility flows covered
by the specific Agreement to start in 2015. The earliest possible starting date for full
PhD grantees is January 2015; for all others it is mid July 2015. The latest possible
starting date is 31 December 2015. Only Staff grantees are exempt from that rule and
may start their mobilities after 2015, as long as the mobility is fulfilled by the end of
the Project, i.e. 14 July 2018.

For EXPERTS4Asia - 2nd Cohort, the earliest possible start of the mobility would
be January 2015, too. All individual mobility flows have to start in time to be
completed by the end of the Project i.e. 14 July 2017.
